This document consists of the following sections:

   An Overview - Describes the contents and purpose for this
                 update
   License Keys Information - Gives important information
                 concerning the licensing of the files included
                 with this README.TXT file
   Installation Instructions - Provides a step-by-step procedure
                 for copying the files from the floppy diskette
                 on to your PC's hard disk drive, and performing
                 the necessary steps to execute the self-install
                 routine included with the update
   Technical Support -  Furnishes the names and points of
                 contact for those users who may require
                 additional assistance from 3D Systems

Overview

If you are not using SL7510 resin, you do not need to install
this update.

If you are ONLY using SL7510 on an SLA 7000 stereolithography
machine, you do not need to install this update.

3D Lightyear Styles Update 1 provides additional build and recoat
styles for Ciba resin SL7510 from 3D Systems.  The additional
Styles information consists of parameters that enable the use of
SL7510 resin in SLA 3500 and SLA 5000 stereolithography machines.
The original version of 3D Lightyear File Preparation software
included Styles for the use of this resin on SLA 7000 machines
only.

Licensing

The installation and use of this update does not require additional
license keys from 3D Systems.  Use of the Styles in this update,
however, is subject to the precepts, tenets, and conditions of the
Software License Agreement users are required to accept as part of
the original installation of 3D Systems' 3D Lightyear SLA File
Preparation software.

Installation of this update does require the acceptance of an
addendum to the original license agreement.

3D Systems reserves the right to make changes to the licensing
scheme, conditions, precepts, and/or tenets of the licensing for
its products and services at any time.

Installation

Adding the SL7510 Styles files to your installation of 3D Lightyear
is a two step process.  First, you extract the installation
files from the self-extracting archive into a temporary folder on 
your PC's hard disk drive, then you must run the extracted 
install program to copy the style update files to the location 
on the hard disk drive where 3D Lightyear resides.

Extract the installation files to a temporary folder:

1. If you received this update on a floppy disk, insert it into 
   the floppy drive of your PC.

2. Using Windows Explorer, locate the folder containing the          self-extracting archive file, "3DLYStyle1.exe".

3. Double-click the archive's filename to launch the extraction 
   program. 

     Note: The default destination folder is "C:\Temp". If 
     this is not the folder you want to extract the temporary 
     installation files to, click the "Browse" button and 
     specify a different folder. 

4. Click the "Unzip" button when you are ready to extract the 
   files. 

Run the Installation Program:

1. Using Windows Explorer, locate the folder containing the 
   extracted installation files.

2. Double-click the install program's filename, "Setup.exe" to 
   launch the installation program.

3. Follow the instructions presented in the dialogs to install 
   the files. 

     Note: Using information contained in the Windows 
     registry regarding the original installation location of 
     the 3D Lightyear program, the update files will be 
     copied to the appropriate folders.
